I did meet her on Stableminds, it was her hubby who did the work.

sooo tired

of doing the same pattern for so long so decided to go with the Dishcloth Baby Blanket by Kenny Chua.  Boiknit.  Just got it started today.

Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Here is the shell pattern from Bernats I have been knitting for it seems like forever.  I have ripped it out so many times I gave up and decided to just knit the new from the old.  If it weren't for the needles I would have no clue which one was which.

This is the third.. same pattern but only done once so far.  It's a heavier wool so not really a baby blanket, more a throw.  But I love the colors, it looks like the lime jello we used to mix till it frothed and set in three layers.  My daughter of course loves this one, go figgur.

dogs

Shadey Lady.  Found wandering the streets at about 5 months.  Amstaff/bc cross.

My mothers Mic.

Mic and her blue sweater. It was the only color I had at the time without opening a new ball of yarn.

This is the tea cosy pattern.  I made a few squares without the decreases and it is a stay fluffed blanket now.

This is the 2nd sweater I made her, it was a bit too big but it was better than...

This one which was too small and she only wore it for a few weeks. She grew out of it quickly.  It was my first sweater.

Poor Sara never really got to wear her sweater.. it was baggy in the belly.  She passed just after christmas last year so Mic uses it as a part time blanket.

Followed the pattern just right.. and it's too small for my cats. None of them bothered with it after the initial inspection.

Oogly ball, cute puppy.

First rug I made, never lies flat cause they all play with it. The pull toy is a bit of felted bag strap I cut off cause it was too long. The dogs loved it.

My knifty knitter rug.  Not sure I like those thing but willing to try it again.

A shawl I made many yrs ago. Mic has commandeered it as a warm up blankie.

A felted blanket that felted too small.. Even unfelted it was too small for what they showed on the pattern. But the dogs love it as a rug.  So do I in winter.

This is how an oogly ball starts out.. as an oogly hat.

Just cause it was cute.  And it was so true at the time. lol

L to R  Monaco, Sleeper, Chief, DC

Sleepers first day home.

Chief and Monaco (DC peeking over Chiefs whithers)

No more Sleeper :(

Chief and Omni, I wish I could find him.
Omni's name was changed to Aussie by his new owners.
He's the reason I will never sell another horse, I miss him so much.

Sleepers last day.  I hugged him and loved on him and went into the house to cry.
My daughter stayed with him.

He's out in the field, not far from where this was taken.
I remember Mons had a hard time accepting his passing, kept biting his back legs to get him up.
He finally settled down and after a few hours he would just lift his head and look towards him then go back to eating.  Poor Mons, Sleeper was his first bud, his protector and his best pal.... guess he was ours too.
